Who should apply?

Allied Health Scholars is ideal for students pursuing allied health fields.  These fields include physical and occupational therapy, physician assistant, athletic training, rehabilitation counseling, and others.

What are the benefits?

What are the admission requirements?

  • Apply by January 15th
  • Optional letter of recommendation
  • Interview in February at Georgetown Scholars Day (if invited). Click here for more information on Georgetown Scholars Day.

What are the requirements of the program?

  • Complete an internship or preceptorship by start of senior year
  • Maintain an overall 3.0 GPA
  • Students have a choice in the third requirement so they can create a program that best aligns with their career goals.  Students can either be an active member in the KHS club, be a member of the Pre-PT program, or complete volunteer hours at a designated facility and attend professional development events each semester.
